Description
We will meet at 8:50am at our snowmobile rental center, located at Sainte-Marguerite-du-Lac-Masson. After the usual formalities (rental contract, payment, security deposit…), we distribute your snowmobile equipment to you and your guide will give you the safety rules as well as training and driving advice. You will be ready to go for a whole day on the magnificent snowmobile trails of Quebec. During your hike, we will make you discover the most beautiful landscapes of Quebec by crossing superb snowy forests and huge lakes. Your guide will carefully guide you along the way, so you can enjoy of your snowmobile ride. Halfway through, you will have a lunch break in a typical village restaurant. After your meal, you will take the handlebars and continue your discovery of the region and its sumptuous landscapes. Return to the center around 5 p.m. to drop off your snowmobile and equipment.
Dinner, night and free breakfast (not included).
The next morning, after a good breakfast, you will go to the second site located in Val des Lacs for your dog sledding activity. Accompanied by a musher (sled guide), you will discover a completely different way of exploring our magnificent forests. You will discover new sliding sensations and at the end of the activity you will be able to congratulate your dogs for this great experience.
Morning and afternoon times are available for the dog sledding, depending on duration and availability.
The snowmobile excursion takes place on marked federated trails, trails marked out in the forests and crossing frozen lakes. Depending on the weather conditions and the level of the group, you will cover between 90 and 140km.
The dog sledding trip with a real duration on trails of 1h00 or 1h30 will take you through forest trails and discover the Laurentian mountains.

Details and extras:
This package does not include accommodation, we can provide you with a list of hotels close to our snowmobile rental center.
For the snowmobile part: you can be either in duo: two people on the same snowmobile or solo: one person on the snowmobile.
For the sled part: The activity is practiced with two people + one guide per sled. One person sits in the sled, the second person drives the sled with the guide. There are breaks during the activity, so you can change places without any problem. If you are 3, you will be placed in a larger sled, depending on the total weight.
Possibility of being alone on a sled (with a musher): + $100 + taxes

Driver
- has to be 18 years of age or older
- A valid driver’s license is required (copy is not accepted)
- The insurance does not cover body injuries to the driver and/or the passenger.
Deductible per snowmobile : $2500 + taxes per snowmobile. The day of your activity, we will hold this amount, as security deposit, on your Visa or MasterCard credit card on your Visa or MasterCard credit card (Please verify your line of credit with your bank before so). The card must be in the name of the driver or passenger. You are liable up to this amount in the event of damage.
- It is strictly forbidden to consume alcohol or drugs before and during our activities
- For security reasons, we do not accept pregnant women.

- Dog sledding equipment : please make sure to dress warmly (sunglasses or mask, winter cap, winter footwear and ski suit if you have one)
